Set up AppRelay

Prepare and pair your Mac and iPad.

1. Prepare the Mac host

Install the approved host once a download is available. The menu bar app guides you through the macOS Screen Recording and Accessibility permissions.

2. Pair your iPad

Start pairing on your Mac. Open the AppRelay client on your iPad, scan the displayed QR code and confirm the host on your iPad. The code is single-use and valid for no more than five minutes. Keep it private and do not share screenshots of it. A public link to the client will be added when available.

3. Select a window

Connect to the paired host and select an open window. Outside your local network you need your own configured VPN. Joint VPN acceptance is still pending.
