A Mac window on your iPad

AppRelay brings one selected window from your own Mac to your iPad. The first macOS and iPadOS beta is being prepared.

Your application, on your iPad

Select an existing window on your Mac and view it on your iPad. AppRelay is being developed to let you control that window using a keyboard and pointing device.

Connect your Mac and iPad

The AppRelay host runs on your Mac and the client runs on your iPad. Pair both devices using a QR code. An existing LAN or your own VPN provides network connectivity.

No cloud login, with device authentication

You do not need a cloud account to connect. Pairing establishes trust between your Mac and iPad using their cryptographic device identities. Subsequent connections are encrypted and mutually authenticated. See the FAQ for protecting the QR code and revoking a device.

Current status

The first version targets Apple Silicon Macs and iPads. Technical acceptance is ongoing. A public release date has not been set.
